Research on parity measurement in optical Mach-Zehnder interferometer

Abstract: Mach-Zehnder interferometer is an important optical device in quantum precision measurement.Considering

a general two-mode quantum pure state as a probe state,by using the Dirac symbol and the theory of

quantum representation transformation,we present a simple method to calculate the expectation value of parity operator

in the output state of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer.
